Family Owned Trucking Company

Great Lakes Logistics is a family owned trucking company based in Romulus, MI. Since opening in 2016, we’ve been recognized by industry leading 3PL providers, such as CH Robinson and XPO Logistics as preferred carriers for our performances in safety and customer satisfaction. We like to stick to our words! From planning a shipment to delivering it. We pride ourselves in meeting pick up and delivery times as safe and efficient as possible along with timely updates to our customers.

Dry Van

Our dry van division is designated to carry palletized, boxed, or loose freight fully enclosed to protect shipments from outside elements.

Reefer

Our reefer division is designated to transport perishables and other temperature-sensitive goods. Our trailers can maintain between 65 to -20 degrees F.

Crossdock

Our crossdock makes it possible to transfer load from one trailer to another. Another service we offer is redelivery, where we take the freight off your trailer and put it on one of ours and make the delivery in the Metro Detroit area.

Warehouse

Great Lakes Logistics is able to temporarily store products in bulk before shipping them to other locations. We also offer airline cargo pick ups and freight forwarding.

Final Mile Deliveries

We are able to receive goods from dock height trucks and make residential and commercial deliveries.

Pallet Sorting/Shifted Loads

We are able to resort damaged and shifted freight. Please contact us for a quote.

Heavy Duty Wrecker

We offer tow services for heavy duty trucks and trailers in the Metro Detroit area and are able to move to anywhere within the 48 states.

Hotshot Trucking

This service involves hauling smaller, more time-sensitive LTL loads within a specific timeframe, and usually to a single customer or location.

Drop Trailer

We offer our customers who need more time to load and unload the opportunity for dropping a trailer at their facilities.

Auto Transport

We haul anything from motorcycles, cars, duallys, and semi trucks.
